Our skilled operators work in teams to set up and run complex converting machines. We manufacture corrugated containers for many of the most respected companies in our region.
Responsibilities
Setup activities including the adjustment of equipment settings, mounting printing plates, dies, and using conveyance equipment.
Reviews daily production schedule; makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals.
Inspects incoming corrugated paper to confirm specification for job order and ensure for quality.
Monitors converting process to ensure quality production at established run rates.
Performs regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Performs daily, weekly, and/or monthly preventive maintenance activities.
Submits maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
Keeps work area clean and organized.
Requirements
Corrugated packaging experience highly preferred
Complex machine set-up experience essential
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret specifications
Basic math skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
