Coastal Container was the only supplier to earn awards in both Innovation and Supplier Excellence categories at an all-day Haworth Supplier Day event on March 2nd. The Supplier Day hosted by Haworth included educational presentations, breakout sessions, and concluded with awards recognition.

Coastal Container was one of two suppliers to receive the Innovation award. This award recognizes suppliers that demonstrate superior innovation effort and value to Haworth on products, processes, or equipment. Coastal Container received the award for showing significant foresight and innovation by designing a one-piece base for file cabinets that not only provided a cost savings, but also eliminated the need for two forming machines on Haworth’s manufacturing floor.

Coastal Container was one of five suppliers awarded Supplier Excellence, recognizing suppliers that demonstrate superior performance in all categories including delivery, quality, cost reduction, innovation, and sustainability.
