Coastal Group Announces Executive Leadership Team Changes

West Michigan-based Coastal Group announced today executive leadership team changes for itself and one of its Holland-based companies, Coastal Automotive.

Stepping into the role of president at Coastal Automotive is long-time company leader Shaun Sikora. Most recently serving as VP of Engineering and Technology, Sikora has worked with Coastal Automotive since its inception, bringing over 25 years of automotive expertise to the role. 

“Over the years Coastal Automotive has shown strong leadership as a Tier I automotive safety supplier,” said Coastal Automotive President Shaun Sikora. “I’m honored to execute Coastal Automotive’s vision as president and continue providing innovative solutions for the future of automotive safety and sound management.”

At Coastal Group, Mark McConnell will take on a new role as CFO. Most recently, McConnell served as Coastal Automotive’s VP of Finance. McConnell has also worked in various capacities, previously serving in other finance roles within Coastal Group over the years. Coastal Group’s operating companies include both Coastal Automotive and Coastal Container.

“We have some big projects on the horizon for Coastal Container, and our growth in recent years has been tremendous,” said Coastal Container CEO and Coastal Group Chairman Brent Patterson. “Our team will continue to provide excellent service that protects our customers’ product and reputation from dock to destination.”
